After discussing my idea, he mentioned another artist at the studio who might be available. I then completed a quick consult over text with Julie, and she was incredibly friendly and informative right away. I stopped by the studio shortly after to meet her briefly and put down my deposit to schedule the appointment. From that point on, the process felt smooth and professional. When I arrived for my appointment, Julie showed me the custom design she created based on my references and ideas—and I instantly fell in love with it. She was very intentional about designing something that not only looked great on me but also aligned with her artistic style. After we finalized the design, she prepared two stencil sizes (one larger and one smaller). I asked if we could go with something in between, and she was completely accommodating. I also appreciated how upfront she was about pricing based on size—no surprises, just clear communication. The final result exceeded my expectations. Julie’s line work is incredibly clean, and her attention to detail truly makes a difference. The stipple shading, highlights, and subtle use of color made the tattoo pop even more than I imagined.
